This artist book combines photographic recordings of my bird sightings with specimen labels, field notes and diagrams to mirror a personal bird watcher’s journal. Both the photographs and text are a mix of truth and fiction. The images combine varied natural settings with carefully placed craft store songbirds to create an enhanced landscape, allowing the viewer to consider the landscape and the ways it can be elaborated upon.
